If you work at heights such as on construction sites, industrial setting or entertainment and are required to wear a fall protection harness, this course will be of great benefit to you! Learn rigging techniques and procedures to accomplish fall protection and safe mobility in exposed areas. Participants will learn how to systematically mitigate fall conditions by first analysing fall hazards on worksites. Topics include equipment analysis, proper use of harnesses and lanyards, anchoring, vertical and horizontal lifeline, set up and use as well as compliance issues with provincial and federal regulations.

If you work or would like to work on aerial structures such as transmission towers and receiver dishes, this course will provide you with the opportunity to learn about provincial and federal regulations and fall protection compliance issues such as equipment performance requirement, proper use of harnesses and fall restraining or arresting lanyards, as well as ladder climbing fall protection systems. Training also covers post-fall rescue procedures to reach and lower a casualty from an elevated area.

Intended for law enforcement tactical officers and potential candidates who want to become proficient in rope access techniques. Participants will learn innovative anchoring and ascending techniques as well as different methods of rappelling for rapid intervention. Skills will be sharpened at a local training tower where participants will have ample opportunity to rig and operate many different devices and rope access systems.
